Kenji Sekiguchi

Biography
Kenji Sekiguchi was born in Tokyo in 1987. He has loved music since childhood and began to listen to electronic music at the age of 14. When he met Robert Miles “Children", he was felt electrified and got deeply into the trance music. After that he listened to many master producers of trance music such as Chicane, BT, Way Out West, etc. Soon after he started DJing when he was 16 years old.

In 2006, he won the 1st prize on "Pure.FM DJ Competition" at the tender age of 19. As a result, he started his own radio show "Soundscape Sessions" on Pure.FM. In 2008 Kenji has participated in "Sevensenses recordings" and worked as an A&R. Also Kenji has launched the digital distribution of the label named “Sevensenses Digital” then produced many undiscovered Japanese artists such as Nhato, Shingo Nakamura, Kyohei Akagawa.

In 2009, Kenji founded an independent label “Otographic Music” and began spreading a lot of Japanese talents through the label and his DJing. Now Kenji sets his mission to continue releasing Japanese electronic dance music with high quality and originality.
