6/5 ! Super Powerful Set !
The first hour is Incredibly Intense, thanks to the Godlike Gems "Arms Of Loren" & "Magic Impulse" ! There are many Gr8 Choons besides --> Do You See The Light (from Musix of course, Snap's cheesy "effort" doesn't even compare), Faith Forever, Trippin' Out, Welcome To A New World, The Anthem 2003 & The Search For Freedom ! If there hadn't been any Snap Cheeze, Hour 1 would have been literally Perfect ! And Hell Yeah, I could discover a new alias from M.I.K.E. --> The Blackmaster ! And I realized that Kai Tracid copycated the melody from "Trippin' Out" when he created his Cult Classic "Trance And Acid" back in 2002 ! Btw, Discogs says that Trippin' Out is from 1995 and not 1992, could you confirm this info Moxa ?
Regarding the Second Hour, it's also Top-Notch ! The Nu Top 3 is Simply Amazing ! Light Up is a Divine Anthem, I have friggin' Awesome Memories listenin' to it on a Sunny Day atop a Superb Japanese Island near Sendai called Kinkasan ! (This island's temples were almost completely destroyed by March 2011 Tsunami unfortunately...) The JOC Remix of Concrete Angel is one of the Big Anthems of 2012 and Paul Miller's Classically is Fantastic, similar in Power and Addictive Melody to his 2012 Rmx for Sound Players' Baiana alongside Ronald De Foe ! Very freakin' Nice to hear again Feeling The Sunrise & First Born ! The Early Rave Classic was Impressively Good ! And the Ultra Relaxing Proggy Threesome was Really Cool, allowing to rest a little bit within 2 Hours of Pure Euphoria ! Long time no hear regarding Do What You Want, hehe !
Overall, my Favz are Arms Of Loren, Magic Impulse, Faith Forever, Trippin' Out, Welcome To A New World, The Anthem 2003, The Search For Freedom, Feeling The Sunrise, Concrete Angel & Light Up ! _________________ Make sure to check out my CLASSIC TRANCE or HARD TRANCE TUNE of the WEEK every single week on Facebook ! |

I have to check that track again, but I don't remember any male vocals in it. Except for Turbo B rap, but I doubt this is what you talk about.
Besides, you don't like male vocals. OK, but it doesn't automatically turn the track into cheesy, just because there is a singing man. _________________ The grading system:

Thanks for the confirmation regarding the Release Year of Trippin' Out ! I strongly suspected that M.I.K.E. was somewhat involved in Yves Deruyter's productions, since many of them contain M.I.K.E.'s fingerprints ! But I thought Yves Deruyter simply inspired himself from M.I.K.E.'s style, I didn't know that M.I.K.E. actually (co-)produced for Yves ! _________________ Make sure to check out my CLASSIC TRANCE or HARD TRANCE TUNE of the WEEK every single week on Facebook ! |

Honestly I just listened to this track in the set. Twice. I didn't want to tak about it, because the last time I heard it was few years ago and I wasn't sure if the remix doesn't contain any surprise male vocals, but I didn't hear any of them. Only one woman singing. Are you sure we are talking about the same track? _________________ The grading system:

ROFL ! We are indeed talking about the same track and I have just realized that it might be a "female" voice in there ! In fact, her voice is so focked up that I thought it was a male singer at first ! You are probably familiar with this phenomenon, when you see someone in the street, first you think it's a man but it turns out it's a super ugly woman in fact, so she looks like a man ! Once, I entered an office, saw someone I thought was a "man", so I said "Mister", but the person replied to me "No, it's Missis"... I then checked her name by computer and it indeed was a female, but so friggin' ugly (fugly) and with super-dupa short hair, I really thought it was a man at first !
Well, to sum it up, I still don't like Snap's track, even though it's a female voice, since her voice is so ugly imho ! _________________ Make sure to check out my CLASSIC TRANCE or HARD TRANCE TUNE of the WEEK every single week on Facebook ! |

Yes, I am aware of the phenomenon. Although I never even thought I could be male vocals in this track. But I remember the video clip for it like it was yesterday.
Anyway, enough of off-topic. I loved the first hour of this episode. Brilliant selection of old school cult classics. I loved each and every track in this hour, including 1992 Trippin' Out and 1993 Do You See The Light (in one of the upcoming episodes you can spin (if you like, obviously) Exterminate to my pleasure and to test wampa's puking abilities. I love Exterminate even more (my personal best from Snap!) and it includes vocals of the same Niki Harris ).
Jan Wayne, Musix, Sensation White and all the rest were incredible. Some of them I didn't know so I mixed my memories with new tracks from similar period of time. Wonderful.
In the second hour, proggy trio this time a little too modest in the melody department. I recognized Moxa style immediately as soon as the track started, I even thought it was one of Science Deal production, but it turned out to be a remix. I believe you spinned it before, but I have terrible memory to tracks, that is why I can barely ID myself in the mirror
But starting with Early Rave Classic and continuing up until the end, the set regains it's marvelous flow and keeps it until the finish.
I believe it was one of the best FoS episodes so far. Only the proggy trio was little to calm for me, maybe to cool off after whole first hour of incredible and true trance. After a time to rest, the power is back and ends when the set ends. Really wonderful job!

I already checked Exterminate on Youtube and Niki Harris still has an ugly voice there imho ! However, no problem whatsoever if Moxa spins it next time ! _________________ Make sure to check out my CLASSIC TRANCE or HARD TRANCE TUNE of the WEEK every single week on Facebook ! |
