Akira Kayosa has firmly cemented himself as one of the world's hottest next generation trance djs and producers around today. In a short space of time Akira has propelled himself to the forefront of a scene that's a fierce as any, show stopping performances behind the decks accompanied by electrifying productions of all forms from his studio have left his mark among clubbers all over the planet, an undeniable gift to get dance floors moving with his energetic passionate style, this is a dj that's not be missed.

His production abilities from within the studio have gotten him noticed from far and wide, this has led to an ever growing demand in dj appearances, regularly playing at top UK brands like 'Gatecrasher/Passion/Digital Society/Majefa and The Syndicate to name but a few, he has played alongside djs that include :- Armin Van Buuren,Markus Shultz,Ferry Corsten,Sean Tyas, Gareth Emery, Simon Patterson,Rank 1, Cosmic Gate, Menno De Jong the who's who of the dance world.
In October 2010 Akira warmed up for none other than trance legend Paul Van Dyk ahead of his 6 hour set at Gatecrasher in Birmingham,UK, proving yet again this multi faceted dj is comfortable playing at any time, being able to adapt to suit the given situation and crowd.
Known for his pumping hands in the air emotional style Akira has travelled Europe and the world playing his show stopping performances to the masses further rubber stamping the global demand for this ever rising trance prodigy.
Radio Show
Due to an increase in popular demand Akiras radio show Synthetica on afterhours.fm has now gone bi weekly, with an ever growing listener base he showcases the best in his box twice a month across the AH.FM airwaves every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month @ 19:00 GMT.

In the last 4 years Akira has demonstrated his technical skills in the studio as one of the best young producers around today, gaining him constant recognition and support from the world elite djs including artists like Armin Van Buuren//Ferry Corsten//Tiesto//Sean Tyas//Above & Beyond//Gareth Emery to name but a few, his unique ability to produce at any tempo and style has only reinforced his depth in talent and signified his passion for pushing new avenues when it comes to creating the records he loves.
Akira Kayosa has been fortunate enough to remix some of biggest trance records of all time, being signed to 'Ferry Corstens - Flashover Recordings' label he was lucky enough to have his blistering version of 'System F - Out Of The Blue' released in 2010 with the special 10 year anniversary package, gaining support from the main man himself as well as djs all over the world, Ferry Corsten even used Akiras remix on his BBC Radio Essential Selection Guest Mix further supporting his admiration for this version of his great classic trance monster.
Furthermore Akira has remixed the great underground trancer by yet again Ferry Corsten & Tiesto in their collaboration from 1999 'Vimana - We Came'. Produced out of the love for the original record Akira passed on his revamped copy to Ferry & Tijs, it became an instant hit among trance listeners as both respected artists supported it on their radio shows 'Club Life' & 'Corstens Countdown' this led to Tiestos' Black Hole Recordings' picking up the record and releasing the track once more in 2009.
Akiras ability to breathe new life into old forgotten anthems caught the eye of fellow UK dj and long time supporter 'JFK', he contacted Akira and him asked to work on his all time classic record 'JFK - Good God'. Together they produced a new slick 2010 version of the massive track from back in 2000, the record was instantly picked up and released by 'Spinnin Records NL' the tune was such a success it remained in the top ten of download charts for over 2 weeks, reaching number 1 on 'Trackitdown.net' yet again proving the demand in his talents from the control room of his studio.
In the short space of time Akira has been producing he has notched up an impressive back catalogue of original works and remixes appearing on labels of the highest calibre within the dance music industry including such labels as Blackhole //Flashover//Mondo//Drizzly//Deepblue//Yakuza and Tetsuo records to name but a select few, these productions have gone on to appear on no less than 50 global compilation cds and albums from Dj's and Global Brands alike, his hit 'State Of Origin' was used on Ferry Corsten's (Once Upon A Night Mix) vol 1, and if that wasn't enough the same track again was used again on Volume 2, this time it was the sublime (Coll & Tolland Remix) as an exclusive bonus feature on Beatport! His track 'Sakana' was used on Talla 2xLC's Technoclub vol 34 CD, the list goes and on these are examples of where Akira's productions end up, in the satchels of the world's best dj's and featuring on countless amounts of compilations!
The future only looks bright for this ever rising young producer, with vocal collaborations coming in 2011 and the beginnings of his debut artist album, as well as all the regular 'Kayosa' works, the future looks bright to say the least.
