Ferry Corsten - Once Upon A Night Volume 2
Ferry Costen Writes:
Ever since the kick off of his "Once Upon A Night" tour in March of this year, Ferry Corsten has been busy travelling the world, playing in front of thousands of ecstatic fans at sold out venues, night after night. The initial mix compilation that appeared as a result of this worldwide victory, hit number 1 on iTunes in the USA and continuing the success of the concept, Ferry Corsten proudly announces his upcoming "Once Upon A Night, Vol.2" mix compilation, supported by a massive world tour.
Every single Ferry Corsten fan knew that his first "Once Upon A Night" compilation and the tour concept was not going to be a one-off thing. But neither friend nor foe would have expected that the second volume would come out this early. It shows the sheer determination of Ferry himself to maintain a steady pace with this new series and to take the world on a journey with his outstanding performances.
Ferry: "After I released volume 1 in March I was so overwhelmed by the enthusiastic reactions from both the fans and the press, that I decided to start compiling volume 2 straight away. I knew it had to be just as good or even better than the previous edition. On volume 2, CD1 starts off housey with trance elements. CD2 continues in a more banging style and it takes volume 1 into the extremes."
One thing is for sure: the "Once Upon A Night, Vol.2" mix compilation will be released on October 1st and to support the release of this new volume, Ferry will begin his world tour with a huge kick off party in London, at The Gallery's 19th birthday on September 17th. He then continues with an extensive twenty plus North American city tour. Fans should keep their eyes peeled and get their tickets in time. Throughout the months of September and October, Ferry will visit San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Toronto, Buffalo, Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton, Chicago and many, many more great cities across the States. Ferry Corsten's transcontinental tour the force for "Once Upon A Night, Vol.2" once again confirms his status as superstar DJ. More information about the upcoming tour will follow soon.
What's most important, as always with a superb mix compilation, is of course the fact that Ferry Corsten now officially reveals the track list of "Once Upon A Night, Vol.2" Let's just quit the talking and let's hear it for: the track list!

Jon O'Bir
Jon O'Bir is a name that's been splashed across the industry since he catapulted to the front of the line in 2002 after winning a prestigious competition run by Passion and M8 magazine. In the seven years since this Jon has gone from strength to strength in gaining respect, fans and accolades.
He successfully held a residency with the leading dance brand Godskitchen for many years which saw him warming up and going head to head with some of the biggest stars including Paul Van Dyk, Sasha and Tiesto, something very few people can add to their portfolio.
Massive achievements in the world of Radio weren't far behind as his diary continued to swell. He was picked for an appearance on the renowned Radio One Essential Mix as well as a guest on Fergie's show. In 2006 he was offered the life changing opportunity to become one of the selected DJ's to be part of Radio One's "The Residency" shows which further cemented the gigantic growth in his popularity. Since 2006 Jon O'Bir's own show "Ways & Means" has continued to attract listeners from all over the world and in 2009 a podcast version of the show will become available for download.
His undisputed skills have meant his diary has featured some of the world's most established and respected events including gigs at Global Gathering, Radio One's "One Big Weekend" and their "10 years of Ibiza" live from Space, Homelands, Gatecrasher, Goodgreef, Slinky, Planet Love in Dublin, 1015 in San Francisco, Gossip Club in Vietnam, Cream at Amnesia and Passion to name just a select few.
On the production front his accomplishments have been just as formidable. His release "Ways & Means" became one of the biggest selling tracks of 2008 on Beatport, which also included a remix from Paul Van Dyk. Alongside extremely popular collaborations with Gareth Emery and Airwave, Jon's solo releases including "Effectual" and "Accendancy" and remixes such as "Jose Amnesia - Louder" have received massive praise from his peers and fans alike.
His exceptional talents in production lead him to create an artist album called "From Within" that was released on the highly respected Vandit label and was promoted by a very successful album tour after its worldwide release in 2008.
2009 is set to see more smash hits from Jon O'Bir, the new EP "Answers / Prophase" is due for release on Vandit and he's recently remixed tracks for Paul Van Dyk, Giuseppe Ottaviani, John O'Callaghan and Aly & Fila.
If all that wasn't enough, due to high demand Jon has begun to release video podcasts from his worldwide gigs that are tallying colossal hit rates and attracting new fans day by day.
This year is sure to be yet another year where Jon O'Bir dominates!
